Advice I’ve been giving others
Advice I’ve been giving others recently, and that I should probably apply to myself:
- Reprioritize where you’re spending your time. Do it deeply and often.
- Don’t pick a fight when you can build an alliance.
- Have high expectations towards your manager.
- Be specific and vocal about what you’d like to work on.
- Read this until you know it better than the one who wrote it.
- Reduce the number of topics you’re working on to 2.
- You’ve explored enough. Now trust your gut.
- If it’s too weak of a solution, don’t even rely on it.
- Develop empathy for your enemy.
